Wedding Party

I chose my ladies because they are woman from different walks of my life. I started with my two sisters and then I choose 4 friends from different schools I've attended. I chose my boys because they are the men in my life who molded me to be the man I am today. They helped me with my walks of life. We now would like of them to take this walk with us down the aisle!! We love and appreciate them all!

Kashmeer

Maid of Honor

Kashmeer (aka Kash) is one year, two months and two days older than me, as we like to both point out. We are often mistaken for twins and some people even think I am the older one. Since we are close in age, we were more like buddies. We did many things together growing up and still enjoy each other’s company.

Keishia

Bridesmaid

Keishia (aka Kei-Kei) is the oldest of my mother’s children. She is 4 years older than I and is a pain in my butt. We argue over the dumbest things (just for fun) and she has always been the mean one growing up lol. She made us drink water with bar soap until our stomachs hurt and said it was a secret potion. Kei-Kei is also the funny one, whose always “hiking” on us. She taught me how not to cry before butt whoopings, although that lesson never registered with my behind lol.

Tamara

Bridesmaid

Tamara is my closest friend from elementary school (Our Lady of Lourdes), often-times we joke and call each other girlfriends. We met at the age of 11 and clicked instantly. We were a part of a group of girls that we called “The Lip Gloss Crew”, because we all wore and loved lip gloss lol. We grew up and grew out that little crew and all became one big group/family of friends. As adults a small group of us has reacquainted, but I believe Tamara is the closest one to me and gets me the best. Tamara and I really do argue like girlfriends sometimes lol

Asiyah

Bridesmaid

Asiyah is my best friend. We met at Bloomfield Tech, my first high school. We started as a group of 4. The 4 of us were all best friends to one another. Asiyah and I are the only 2 that still are best friends. Asiyah thought I was soooo annoying when she first met me; actually, she still does lol. We used to always be on Meebo chatting with people and we loved playing around with Photobucket to put filters on our pics. Besides Meebo, Myspace was also our thing lol We bring the fun out of each other. We do the silliest things and have the weirdest conversations. No one gets us but us.

Yashenn

Bridesmaid

Yashenn is one of my closest friends. We met in 11th grade, when I began attending Weequahic High School. We would walk to school together for our 7am Lab with Dr. Hall. We talked on the phone late everyday (when our minutes was free lol). Some of our good times and best moments include: our Washington, DC trip, Twin Day and the Summer of 2013! Out of all my Weequahic crew, no one gets me more than Yashenn does.

Melisa

Bridesmaid

Melisa is my closest friend from hair school (now called The Hair Design School). Although we met in hair school, our journey didn’t end there. We linked back up when we started working at Supercuts (West Caldwell). From there our friendship continued to grow closer. We went out a few times together and spoke often. Melisa moved down to the shore but distance never stopped our friendship. When I visit the area, I make sure to stop by and spend some time with her and vice versa. Often-times, I tell Melisa how she is my role model. She is a mom of 2 and has accomplished so much. She is also my silly friend, although she never fails to tell me if I’m doing something wrong.

Cordarow

Best Man

Cordarow- is my brother and my best man, literally. Cordarow is my road dog, and ride or die...... except when it comes to football! lol . We’re rivalries when it comes to football teams. He likes the Cowgirls and I am a BIG BLUE Giants fan. Other than that, we actually share a lot of similarities; so much so, that we’re almost one in the same.

Shondale

Groomsman

Shondale is my oldest brother. Growing up he used to fake bully me. He would do things like eat the last of the cereal so I couldn't have any more, just to get under my skin!!! He's always was a play fiend. We used to slap box a lot and one day he stopped and looked at me, guess he didn’t know my hands were so quick lol. That was the last of that game hahhahha.

Quame

Groomsman

Quame and I met freshman year, through mutual friends. Quame is actually my barber now. He doesn’t know it, but he inspires me as well. He motivates me to being healthier; by both, fitness and food choices. Quame is one of the realest guys I know. He never fails to “keep it real”.

Zaykee

Groomsman

Zaykee (aka Zak) now this one is the funny one. Zak and I met in 6th grade at Chancellor Avenue School. We were, actually, best friends. Zak was my unofficial bodyguard lol. He wouldn’t let anyone bother me. Time took the best of us and we lost contact. One day, I was selling a pair of boxing gloves on OfferUp and I met up with the buyer at White Castles. Unbeknownst to me, Zaykee was the buyer!! Once we both realized that we knew each other, we exchanged numbers and have been cool ever since.

Jarod

Groomsman

Jarod is one of my first cousins, almost like a brother. When were kids, we used to ride bikes together and play video games. Jarod was the annoying cousin. Growing up he always did things to make our Aunt Sharon mad. What Aunt Sharon didn't know was that I was his partner in crime lol. Thanks for taking the heat Jarod.

Thomas

Groomsman

Thomas-My childhood friend. Thomas and I met at Chancellor Avenue School in the 6th grade. We made it out of there and attended Weequahic High. Go Indians! In high school we played Freshmen Football together. I look up to Thomas. He went further with football than I, he made it to a championship!! Thomas also inspired me to continue with my education, just by doing so himself.
