We’re getting married!!!

We met on a Facebook-like Christian app as friends. It was an app where we could pray together, do bible studies, fellowship, or just laugh and be silly. A group of us became extremely close and started planning meet ups together all across the country, just as friends and in March 2019 (exactly one year ago), Dillon flew to Nashville and we became best friends.....and much to our surprise, we started falling in love, with God making it beyond evident that we were meant to be together on our second friend meet up in July 2019. We started dating in the summer and growing more and more in love and in Christ, we just knew we were soulmates and designed to be.

This is a long amazing story, all about faith and God's timing, not our own. If you want to full story, ask us in person and we'd be happy to tell you all the deets! So Dillon had planned on proposing for weeks, but God kept showing that it wasn't the right time and to wait on His perfect timing. Finally after trying to propose for so long, on Dec 7th, in the pouring rain in Big Sur, Dillon asked the Lord when we were praying together, if it was the right time, to make the rain stop, and if it isn't, to increase it......and then the rain STOPPED. So Dillon got down on his knee (in the mud) and told me that he wanted to live in the moment with me, through every storm in life and that he would always love me forever, and finally asked me to marry him! The very moment I said yes and he placed the ring on my finger, the rain started again POURING down and super windy, as if God was holding it ALL back for us to have that moment....and then released it all at once! It was 5 months exactly from the day we started dating! Absolutely incredible and by far the best day of our lives! We've never been so happy! :)
