We're getting married!

It all started on a little app called Bumble... in late December of 2018 we came across each others' dating profiles and swiped right. It was a match! After getting to know each other over beers, we ended the night feeling we had found someone a little different than the rest. A week later Cordero told me he needed a last minute date to a wedding in Dallas (since his date cancelled). Although I thought he was making it up and was skeptical of it all, I agreed to go! We even extended our trip to explore Austin together for the most advanced second date in history. It was a great trip and the rest was history!

Our adventures continued through 2019 with a week and a half long road trip up the California & Oregon coast. We both loved the outdoors and eating/drinking our way through each city we stopped in. Things didn't stop there! We travelled to Thailand the following year making memories on the pristine beaches and a few two many Chang beers. The following year we completed a half marathon in Zion National Park and hiked the iconic Narrows and Angel's Landing trails. We had discovered our love language: traveling, eating/drinking, exploring!

Unfortunately COVID put a bit of a wrench in our travel plans for 2020, but Cordero was not going to let that get in the way of our relationship. On Christmas day of 2020, we were opening presents in our Morgan Hill apartment. I noticed one last present under the tree and began opening it. It was a series of boxes getting smaller and smaller until I was down to one small wooden box. I opened it to find a beautiful diamond ring! Cordero got down on one knee and popped the question. I of course said yes! We can't wait for even more adventures to come as husband and wife.
