Cordell and Tania’s story began on April 25, 2019, at a networking event in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Cordell was hosting the event, while Tania was invited by a mutual friend who later played matchmaker. From the very beginning, their connection was undeniable. Bonding over music, food, faith, and a shared love for life, what started as a simple introduction quickly turned into something much deeper. As their relationship grew, so did the life they built together. Through the challenges of the pandemic, they realized there was no one else they would rather navigate life alongside. Together, they took a leap of faith and moved from Michigan to Atlanta, Georgia, the first time either of them had lived away from home. Along the way, they traveled, celebrated holidays with loved ones, embraced each other’s cultures, and continued falling more in love through every new experience and chapter. After a short stay in Houston, their journey together eventually led them to their new home in Dallas, TX in 2023. After embracing so many new beginnings and changes together, they knew it was the perfect time to take the next step in their relationship. Surrounded by crashing waves and the sound of mariachis during a family trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, he asked for her hand in marriage. They are so grateful for the love and support they’ve received over the years and can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you on October 11, 2026.
