Our wedding represents Black Excellence. Therefore, the Black Tie dress code will be STRICTLY enforced. Men must wear a complete suit with dress shoes, preferably a tuxedo. Women must wear formal evening wear, preferably a floor-length gown. Please refrain from wearing white (any shade or variation), champagne, or gold. We're requesting guests to wear neutral tones and refrain from colors that are too vibrant, bold, or distracting.
Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm. We suggest guests arrive early for premier seating options. Please note that if you are not seated once the ceremony starts, you will have to wait until the vows are exchanged before entering the ceremony.
This will be an "unplugged ceremony". We ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony portion. We have hired amazing photographers to capture these moments and promise to share the photos once we receive them. We welcome you to take pictures during the cocktail hour and reception!
While you know we love your young ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!
We would love to be surrounded by everyone who loves and supports us, however, we hope you understand our venue has a maximum capacity limit. We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. If not, please respect our wishes and don't bring additional guests.
There is ample parking available at the venue. Please keep in mind, that there will also be a shuttle provided to transport guests around the venue grounds.
In place of a traditional wedding registry, we will be honoring a beautiful African custom—the Money Dance! During the reception, guests can join us in this tradition by offering blessings and well wishes in the form of monetary gifts as we dance. Your love, presence, and participation mean the world to us!
