JD and Hannah have a sweet story of how love came into their lives. The couple grew up living less than ten minutes from each other, but attended different schools. Hannah's first recollection of JD was in high school when he was playing her school in basketball. She remembers sitting in the student section and thinking he was so cute! She is pretty sure she went home that night and friend requested him on Facebook! Years later, JD and Hannah were formally introduced to each other through mutual friends. They learned they had much in common, and bonded over coaching high school sports, Ed Sheeran, their die-hard love of Penn State Football and their absolute dislike of each others NFL teams. Go birds! Hannah was taking time off of school when JD had recently transferred from Penn State University to Millersville University. Hannah worked as a visual merchandising manager for J.Crew. JD had shopped there often and decided to get a part time job, which made Hannah JD's boss! After months of working together, feelings started develop between the pair and everyone around them could not deny their spark, including their families! JD decided to leave his job in order to pursue a relationship with Hannah. The rest is history! The couple celebrated five years together this year!
