You can look up places based on the location of the Villa. Just remember, it is a lake so be aware of places that are across the lake if you do not want to have to drive or walk far (I mean if you do get one across the lake, you could always rent a boat ;) )

Train to get from Milan Airport (MXP) to Verbania-Pallanza
There are cars that can be rented at the airport for an easier option to get around, but if you are looking to not drive on the other side of the road ;) there is a train from Milan Malpensa Airport to Verbania-Pallanza. I am not sure where it drops you off in the town, but you can always map it out in relation to where you are staying. It is affordable for a one way (about $12).
