Where can I park?

For the wedding ceremony, St. Anthony of Padua Church has a parking lot located across the street with entrances on W 9th Street as well as on Howland Street. There is also street parking around the church and in the city. For the wedding reception, Hotel DuPont offers valet overnight parking currently at $45 per night ($50 for oversized vehicles higher than 6’3). Valet day parking is priced at $25 per day. Valet parking includes 24-hour in/out privileges. Around the Hotel and in the city of Wilmington, there are multiple parking garages that offer day and overnight rates, as well as metered street parking. For those staying at Sheraton Suites Downtown Wilmington, the hotel has a parking garage for all guests who have reserved a room. Parking in the hotel’s garage is charged at $24 per car per night.

What is the dress code for this event?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding and reception is formal or black-tie optional. For men, tuxedos are not required, but suits are preferred. For women, floor-length gowns, fancy ankle-length dresses, formal cocktail-length dresses, or dressy pantsuits are best. Please use your best discretion as to appropriate attire. We ask that women stray away from white or ivory colors.
