We had always known of each other (he stepped on me at homecoming for example), but it wasn’t until a spring break beach trip our senior year that things really began. Between quick conversations and a few shared glances, something sparked—and after a little encouragement from my friends (and a perfectly timed song on his story - 'I Got 5 On It"), I made the first move. From there, everything fell into place. We shared texts back and forth, I went to a track meet of his that turned into a Yogurtland date, and he asked me to prom with a bouquet of sunflowers. On June 6, 2019, the day after graduation, Corbin asked me to be his girlfriend, and we’ve been choosing each other ever since. Even through long distance in college, Corbin never made me question us—driving hours just to spend a weekend together. Somewhere along the way, I realized this wasn’t just young love… he was my person. Over the years, we fell in love with visiting the Central Coast. Cambria quickly became our favorite place, and in February 2026, it became part of our forever. After a rainy trip full of unexpected twists, the sun came out just in time for one last stop by the beach. What I thought was just a quick break turned into the moment Corbin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Our journey hasn’t been perfect, but it’s ours. Through every high and low, I’ve always found my way back to him, and he’s met me with patience, love, and so much grace. Now, as we get ready to say “I do,” we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter together—surrounded by the people we love most.
