We met through a mutual friend our sophomore year of high school at Woods Cross in October of 2020. We ended up dating 1 week after prom on May 22nd, 2021. What began as a young relationship quickly grew into something truly meaningful to both of us. Over the years we’ve grown up side by side, supporting each other through school, new opportunities, long distance, and all the changes that come with this stage of life. Being together has allowed us to build a strong foundation of trust, love, and friendship, and we feel incredibly lucky to have shared so many important memories along the way. It means so much to us that a relationship that started in high school has grown into the life and future we are so excited to continue building together.
On the last day of our trip to Greece with Corbin's family, we found ourselves on a quiet hillside in Athens as the sun began to set, casting warm golden light across the city. Behind us, the Acropolis stood timeless against the glowing sky, its ancient columns silhouetted in the fading light. As we took in the view together, Corbin told me to turn around and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. In that moment—overlooking one of the most beautiful places in the world—I said yes. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable trip and the beginning of our next chapter together.
We chose to hold our wedding at the Springville Museum of Art because celebrating such an important moment in a place dedicated to beautiful art felt like the perfect fit for us and our guests. The museum’s elegant courtyard and classical architecture remind us of Greece and Italy, giving the setting a romantic, nostalgic feeling that we absolutely love.
