Train
There is an Amtrak station within a short distance of the downtown mall! Trains leave twice a day northbound towards Washington D.C. and southbound towards Roanoke.
Flight
The Charlottesville airport is served by Delta, United, and American, and has multiple flights a day to major east coast US hubs including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York LaGuardia, and Washington Dulles. The airport is a 20 minute drive from the downtown mall. Note that late arrivals may struggle with Uber and Lyft availability.
Travel Note
There is ample parking around Charlottesville's downtown mall. The Water Street garage (200 E Water Street) is the closest parking option to Common House. The Market Street parking garage (546 E Market Street) is also a close option. Both garages offer overnight parking at reasonable rates.
