FAQs

To help make your experience as smooth as possible, we've put together answers to the most common questions about our big day. From what to wear to where to stay, we've got you covered. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to reach out!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 11th, 2025, so we can finalize our plans with all of our vendors! If you have any trouble with the website please reach out and we can manually enter your response 🤍

Question

What if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by the deadline, as we need to finalize catering, seating, and other arrangements. Please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible—we don’t want to celebrate without you! If you don't RSVP, you better bring a sandwich and a chair....

Question

What is the wedding day schedule?

Answer

3:45 PM – Guests should be onsite and seated. 4:00 PM – Ceremony begins. 4:30 PM – Ceremony ends, and cocktail hour at the barn begins. 6:00 PM – Reception begins with a buffet, toasts, and socializing. 8:00 PM – Dance floor opens—get ready to celebrate! 10:30 PM – Fireworks send-off to end the night!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask that you dress "semi-formal with outdoor practicality." Our wedding will be outdoors in a hay field in October, so please dress appropriately for the weather and terrain. We recommend avoiding heels or shoes that may be difficult to walk in on grass and uneven ground. Please also avoid wearing white, cream, or eggshell.

Question

What can I expect from the venue?

Answer

Our wedding will take place on the Martin family farm, where we live, and most of the celebrations will be outdoors. Since it's October, please dress accordingly for the weather. We will have fire pits throughout the space to keep warm, but we still recommend planning ahead for outdoor conditions. Also, please note that there is minimal to no cell service at the farm, so we suggest mapping directions beforehand and coordinating any necessary communication before arriving. Once you're there, just relax, unplug, and enjoy the celebration with us!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! This will all be field parking but there is plenty of space.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony by 3:45 PM to allow time to find your seat and settle in. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Out of respect for the moment, late arrivals will not be able to join the ceremony. If you arrive late, we kindly ask that you wait until the cocktail hour begins to join the festivities.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered through Zola, which also includes our Amazon registry. You can find both on the ‘Registry’ tab of this website. In addition to traditional gifts, we have also set up a honeymoon fund for those who would like to contribute instead. Traveling is something we rarely get to do, and we are saving up to make this special trip happen since we won’t be able to go immediately after the wedding. Your generosity, in any form, means the world to us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to budget and seating space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, their name (or ‘+ Guest’) will be noted. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we are only able to accommodate select children at our wedding. If your invitation includes children, their names will be listed. We appreciate your understanding.
