We're getting married!

Four years ago, Alyssa and Matt arrived at the Maryland Science Center, as strangers, to drink and dance the night away at the best Halloween party in Baltimore. Halfway through the night, while in line for another drink, Alyssa noticed Matt from across the room and instantly gave up her spot in line to introduce herself. Things clicked right away and the rest of the night was filled with dancing, drinking, and exploring the museum. After the party was over, Matt and Alyssa ended the evening by sitting in the harbor talking and laughing. They finally parted ways at 3:00am, knowing they wanted to see each other again, but unaware that they'd be back in four and a half years to say I do!

Just before Christmas, Matt surprised Alyssa with a weekend getaway to spend some time together before going their separate ways for the holidays. Right after checking in and settling in the room, Matt was antsy to ask the question. He headed outside to the balcony and called for Alyssa to "come look at this". She stepped outside to see him on one knee asking her to spend their lives together. She, obviously, said yes!
