Question

Where is the wedding and reception taking place?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place in the Roman Catholic church- St. Mary of the Assumption in Deal, NJ. Our cocktail hour and reception takes place at the Oyster Point Hotel, in Red Bank NJ.

What do we do for the time gap between the church and the reception?

Answer

We realize there is a few hour gap between our ceremony end time to the start of the cocktail hour/ reception at the Oyster, so we understand if you cannot make it to the church! We did this to keep things more traditional and are having most of our photography done after the ceremony, as we are not doing a "First Look" like most couples do. Check out our "Things to Do" tab for some ideas of places to go in Red Bank to help pass the time while you wait for the reception to start! Keep in mind, it is ~10 miles or a 25 min drive from Deal to Red Bank. Give yourself plenty of time because summer traffic at the Jersey Shore will be in full swing!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love kids (and can't wait to have our own one day!), we’ve decided to have an adults-only celebration. Thank you for making arrangements, and we look forward to having you let loose a little this night!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage our guests to dress their best for our special day! Formal attire is suggested.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Check out our "Hotel Accommodations" tab for more details-- we have discounted rooms reserved at the Oyster Point Hotel, our wedding reception location, for your convenience. Other options (no room blocks here) are the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, or there is the "Courtyard by Marriott Lincroft, Red Bank" located at 245 Half Mile Rd, Red Bank, NJ 07701 (~10 min drive from the Oyster Point) for a more affordable option.
