FAQs

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Casual Cocktail Attire preferred. There's no need for a sports coat, and Aaron says, "definitely no suits." Please note: This is a lakefront property. We recommend comfortable footwear for walking on grass and uneven ground.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love all of your children and would never want to exclude them! But because our venue is a private lake house with water access and limited space, we encourage guests to consider making it a date night if possible! If your children do attend, we kindly ask that they remain supervised by a parent or guardian at all times for everyone's safety and enjoyment. We look forward to celebrating with your family, whatever arrangement works best for you!

Question

What's the parking situation?

Answer

There is (free) grass/dirt parking onsite for all of our guests. The weather may turn the dirt into mud, so keep that in mind!

Question

What time will everything get started?

Answer

Our (short and sweet) service will begin at 6pm EST, followed by the reception at the same venue. No need to travel. We will end the night with dancing and celebration!

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

We will have a catered nacho/street taco bar from Super Carniceria Loa #6, with al pastor, carnitas, and pollo (chicken), along with queso, fresh tortillas/chips, salsas, and toppings. Our groom's cake will be nut-free to ensure that our guests with allergies can also enjoy something sweet.
