Coral and I met at a summer camp called Glorieta Adventure Camps in New Mexico. I worked for a year as an intern on January 2018, assisting in different areas of the camp, it was really an amazing experience because this summer camp was inclined to my faith. Coral was a university student in Mexico. She applied for the kitchen staff position on exchange visa. She was at the summer camp from May 2018, to the beginning of August 2018, and during that time I had the opportunity to talk to Coral and get to know her a little bit more. I realized that she was a very sweet and kind girl, but the summer was coming to an end, and she had to go back to Mexico for college. After the summer camp ended, I went back to my home state Georgia with my family and Coral went back to Mexico, a few years later in 2021, we had the opportunity to reconnect and talk again and catch up on all those years. She was ready to apply for a new exchange program in the United States, and that's how she came to this country. A few weeks after we started dating, I realized that Coral had to be my girlfriend. We had a relationship since August, 2021 - March, 2024. The big day came and on May 15th 2024 I proposed to Coral she said yes! Everything has been amazing with Coral, thanks to her I have learned many things about her Mexican culture and I feel very lucky to have gone to this summer camp and to have met her.
