Visit the coast. The Mendocino coast is beautiful, you will see beaches, cliffs, redwoods, and cute towns along the way.
There is a lot of great wine tasting in the region, our favorite place for cheese and wine is Penny Royal Farms in Boonville.
The Skunk Train departs from Willits or Fort Bragg and is a fun thing to do with the family. There are open cars in the back of the train where you can stand outside.
Bring your swimsuit, August is hot, and there is a pool at the wedding venue!
