To have a fancy party and to make good memories with family and friends! Instead of a trip or a quiet night together we decided to have a party this year with our loved ones. We are overjoyed to have made it to 10 years of marriage together! Some of you we have not seen since our wedding, others we've sadly lost. We are proud to be together and to be able to put together an event to include the most important parts of our lives (you!).
Yes! We understand many of you have children and we want you to come! (We even have a kid option included on the menu.) Please note: there will be no babysitter/child-care attendant on duty. If you decide to bring your kid(s), please take care of them while you are in attendance. We have no children ourselves (yet) and we are hosting the event. We want the event space, noise level, and other guests to be respected.
RSVPs will be included with the invitations along with the meal ticket, a pre-stamped envelope, and a blank with how you want your name(s) to appear on your place setting(s). Please send those back to us for meal planning and our final count. (We hope to get a minimum of 70 people to come, however we budgeted for 85, so if you would like to bring an extra person please let us know). WE WILL NEED OUR FINAL COUNT BY MAY 10. ***There may be a $0.44 postage charge for the RSVP. We apologize for the inconvenience***
This is to be a dressy casual event. Our theme is "Tin"seltown/old Hollywood. So, feel free (though not required) to dress in your star/starlett best! In short: Please dress in dressy casual attire.
Our vision is to have the event themed around the traditional gift for a 10 year anniversary, which is tin or aluminum (Sn or Al in chemical terms). Both elements have a certain resilience and take longer to rust. They both symbolize strength!! That is why we chose "Tin"seltown/old Hollywood to be our anniversary theme :)
Please don't douse yourself in coconut scented items as the hostess is VERY allergic to it. We apologize for any inconvinience this may cause, but it is better to be safe than sorry.
Dinner will be plated and the entree selections are chicken, beef, fish, or the vegetarian option. There is also a kids menu option (mac & cheese, fries, and a fruit cup). We cannot have your dish personalized so please let us know which entree selection you will be choosing before May 10. If there are any considerations, such as food allergies please let us know.
We will have an open bar for the first 4 hours of the event, after that drinks will be available for purchase.
There should be plenty of parking in the front of the reception hall!
Soon. Be ready!
