During the summer we would spend many days here. One of our favorite memories is when we made our own hammock out of Christmas-themed sheets that were on sale at Costco, EC4000, and rope. We found a quiet spot in the trees, hung up the hammock, and snoozed for the afternoon.
You might notice a theme when it comes to places to go and things to see. Jon-Jon and I have always been nature lovers, so big trails like Seven Bridges have always been a favorite get-away location. We could spend all day walking the different trails.
This restaurant started in West Bend, so it was more accessible back in the day. I cherish the memories of driving with the windows down while the sun sets, listening to Joji and Khalid, on our way to get dinner. We love it so much my 21st birthday dinner was at Tochi.
One of our first few dates was at the Domes. There was a bridal party there getting their photos done. I'm pretty sure I mentioned to Jon-Jon how I would love to get married there too. If you ask him what his original proposal plan was, before I wanted to spend my birthday in Colorado-it was to propose at the Domes.
When we moved into our first apartment, it was about a mile away from Ma's. It very quickly developed into the Sunday morning tradition. Nothing quite beats the hot coffee and french toast.
