By when should I book lodging?

Answer

As early as possible! The Grass Valley / Nevada City area is a popular summer destination, and lodging is limited. Check out the Travel page for hotel recommendations.

How should I plan to get to the wedding?

Answer

Please plan on taking our complimentary shuttle to the wedding. It will pick up in front of the Gold Miner's Inn at 4:00, 4:10, and 4:20. Parking at and around the venue is extremely limited. Taxis are available but limited, and do not expect access to rideshare services like Uber/Lyft.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal. Suits or sports coats for the gentleman, and gowns or cocktail dresses for the ladies. The weather will be warm!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests should arrive by 4:30pm.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please join us for a casual weekend welcome on Friday evening, and a Sunday morning "glimpse of the newlyweds." You can find more information on the Schedule page.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please indicate any dietary restrictions in the RSVP form, and we will make sure everyone has something tasty they can eat!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our venue has a limited capacity. If your invitation does not indicate a plus one, please do not bring a date.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids that are family to the bride or groom are welcome! Other guests, please take this opportunity for a night out without the kids.
