Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. If you do not own anything that fits into these categories there is no need to go shopping, please just dress as nice as you're able with what you already own.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is available within a short walk of the venue. There are 2 public parking lots on S. Hickory St. within walking distance of the venue. A. slightly South of the venue on the East side of the street, across from the Ottawa Herald B. North of the venue on the West side of the street, across from city hall & the library There is also limited street parking available near the venue that you are welcome to use if available and there isn't a listed time limit.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 5pm. We recommend arriving by 4:45 at the latest so you're able to park, walk to ceremony location, and be seated before the processional starts.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no provided transportation

Is there somewhere I am able to smoke?

Answer

The Lincoln Event Space is a smokeless facility. If you would like to smoke or vape you will need to completely leave the grounds to do so.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Target and Amazon, although there isn't much that we need at this point in our lives so we also created a honeymoon fund for those who would rather contribute to experiences. We have everything from all 3 registries combined into one convenient list here on our wedding website under the Registry tab

Isn't the ceremony outdoors? Where am I entering?

Answer

Great question, yes the wedding is outdoors in the courtyard next to the venue. The entrance to the courtyard is on 2nd street. After parking you'll walk to the front of the venue and then continue west, just past it, and enter through the open brown gate. In the event of bad weather the ceremony will be moved indoors
