Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Samantha Coors and Cole Jarrard
We are always up to something and always on the go. Friday nights are our favorite day of the week! Here's what we would do:

The Black Sparrow

223 Main Street, Lafayette, IN 47901

The best pub in town. No argument here. Sam will never turn down a trip to the sparrow. And we've never tried anything we didn't like. Here's what to order: Drinks: A seasonal craft beer for Cole and dirty Tito's martini with three olives for Sam (has to be three, odd numbers are good luck) Starters: Goat Cheese or Bacon Wrapped Dates (a Sparrrow signature) Main: Cole is a big sandwich guy, he always goes for the Bahn Mi. Sam always debates between a fig pizza (add bacon) or a Mediterranean salad. YOU HAVE TO GET FRIES WITH PESTO MAYO. Dessert usually comes in the form of another cocktail.

Main Street Amusements

642 Main Street, Lafayette, IN 47901

You guessed it, more pinball. Bring your quarters along. Main Street Amusements is a few blocks from Sparrow and a typical date night spot.

Market Square Lanes

2100 Elmwood Avenue, Lafayette, IN 47904

Cole loves pinball and Sam loves Cole. Therefore, Sam and Cole love pinball. While yes this is a bowling alley, they have a variety of pinball machines in and outside of the bar. They rotate machines every so often but Cole's favorite is Avengers and Sam always (sometimes) beats him at Foo Fighters. We aren't the best bowlers but we are the best at having fun together. If you are bowling and need a snack, we highly recommend fries with cheese. They just hit different at the bowling alley.

Arni's Lafayette Market Square

2200 Elmwood Avenue, Lafayette, IN 47904

Located right around the corner from the bowling alley, it would a disservice to not tell an out of towner about a Lafayette staple. The best pizza around. Ask to sit in the toy room so you can play an old fashioned game of I-Spy while waiting for your 'za.

Lafayette Brewing Company

622 Main Street, Lafayette, IN 47901

Another date night spot. Brew Co is a great spot for the family. Their taps and rotating and brewed in house. The seasonal cocktail menu never disappoints. They make their root beer and orange cream soda IN HOUSE. So you absolutely have to dive into your inner child (or steal a drink from your child). Sam always loves the French onion soup and Cole normally orders from their specials menu.

Ritual

211 North 2nd Street, Lafayette, IN 47901

Sam loves to get fancy and head to Ritual for a cocktail. Her menu pick is an espresso martini or an iced carillo. Ritual always has amazing monthly drink menus. If you aren't sure, ask a bartender to direct you to best drink. They are always so helpful. Once again, Cole gravitations towards their seasonal beers. And the bathroom lighting is amazing, grab your girls and head to restroom for a mirror pic.

Teays River Brewing & Public House

3000 South 9th Street, Lafayette, IN 47909

The best brew house in town. Cole always gets a Traumalama Ding Dong IPA and Sam goes for the Camelot Cream Ale. Start with sticky pork belly or chips and cheese.
