Andrew and I were both premium members on a dating app called bumble. I only reached out to men who showed interest by hearting my profile. I saw that Andrew had liked my profile and I read through his. We seemed to be aligned on everything and looking for the same things. He had a very serious look in his profile picture, I thought he was handsome but I wasn't sure if he was nice. Lol. It took me awhile to muster up the courage to reach out. On bumble the woman has to message first. So eventually I did reach out. We chatted online for a few weeks and Andrew asked me on a date. He wound up coming down with the flu and had to cancel our first date. Unfortunately I was used to this many would invite me on a date, but I got stood up ALOT. However, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and agreed to reschedule. We had planned to go out to dinner but had not picked a location or time. We were supposed to go out on October 6th. On October 6th I received an odd text from Andrew. He had asked if I wanted to meet him at his brothers house that was about 45 minutes away from where I live and work out with them. I was like nope I will pass on that (lol, seemed a little sketch). I later found out that Andrew was banking on me saying no to that, as he was getting cold feet about going on the date. In fact although we agreed to meet up later on after he worked out with his brother, he did not intend to go (Butthead, lol ;)). So I called him when I had not heard from him and left a voicemail that I was very hungry and waiting for our date. He received my voicemail and thought it was cute. He called me back and let me know that he was late coming back from his brother's house and apologized profusely for missing another date. He sent me a really sweet message and asked if we could meet at Chili's the next day at 6pm. I wrote that night in my journal, If Andrew Stands me up one more time that is it! Lol I had a special feeling about him though, from the moment I saw his profile and I just felt that I had to meet him. So we did. When I saw him come through the front door at Chili's I felt like he was someone who I had always known. I felt comfortable and at ease. In person he has the most vibrant blue eyes and the friendliest smile. We talked for hours and had so much in common. We had so much fun together and I could not wait to see him again. I went home and called every one I knew to tell them about him. I even told my mother that I felt like he was the one. He has told me that he went home and called his closest friends as well saying that he felt like he met his wife! From there the rest is history, we love each other so much and are excited to spend our lives together.
