We’re Getting Married!

We had mutual friends in college and ran around with the same crowd even though we weren’t in college at the same time. We reconnected a few years later when we realized on Facebook that we almost have the same birthday. Cooper’s on the 22nd while mine is on the 21st. He had messaged me on Facebook asking about my Amazon wish list for my classroom. We messaged back and forth for about an hour and I thought that was going to be it. I messaged him the next day wishing him a happy birthday. Not long after this cooper asked me out on our first date and the rest is history!

This day was normal except for Cooper acting different. LOL! We had decided we wanted to cook a homemade pizza on the traeger but cooper had something else on his mind. After dinner cooper disappears into his office for a while, he comes back out, I ask him what he was doing and he just says “paying bills” and walks outside. About 30 minutes later I get a text to come outside. I walk out and call for him, Lilly (my dog) comes out from behind the truck and takes off running the opposite direction. Next all I hear is “ we’ll call your dog back”. Confused about what was going on I called her back. She comes running with something around her neck I ask him what was on her he says “read it”. I bend down with my back towards him and read the bandana that says “will you Marry me?’”. Cooper was on one knee, in shock the only thing I remember saying is “ are you being serious? That’s not funny” lol. After the shock wore off I agreed to spend forever with my best friend❤️
