Our Story
Sam moved to Auburn from Chico and started at Placer halfway through junior year. She and Cooper didn’t have any classes together, but there were definitely a few lingering hallway glances and quiet crushes—on both sides. They eventually found themselves in the same friend group and ended up at the same house party. When a beer pong sign-up sheet made the rounds, Cooper asked Sam to be his partner. After a little convincing, she said yes—and they lost horribly.
They spent the rest of high school together before Cooper went to UC Davis. They made “medium distance” work—Sam would drive up on weekends, and they'd fill their time with river days, sushi nights, and lots of sweet little moments. They grew up side by side—living together, working full-time, and always making time for each other and their dog, Birdie.
Now, they're getting married (!!) and can’t wait to continue this adventure—full of love, laughter, friendship, and whatever else life throws their way.
