Our story began when Raquel was heading into her junior year at Argyle High School and Cooper was heading into his senior year. Cooper asked Raquel to be his game day girl for the football season, which led to Cooper asking Raquel to be his girlfriend on November 15, 2014. After a year together, Cooper headed off to The University of Texas at Austin in 2015 and Raquel joined him soon after in 2016. During college, we had so many adventures! From football games, to Austin City Limits, to ski trips, we got to experience so many fun things together, all while going to school and growing up along the way. Raquel moved back to Argyle in December 2019 after graduating and Cooper moved back in March 2020 when his classes went virtual. We were blessed to have such amazing families support us during the pandemic while Cooper finished school and Raquel started working. About 2 years later, Cooper finally proposed at the Denton Country Club on the 18th hole, following a game of golf with both of our dads. Raquel was so excited and couldn't believe that she was actually the future Mrs. Rodgers! A week after getting engaged, we bought our first home together and are looking forward to building our future family there. We are so excited to start this journey together and are so thankful that we have such amazing family and friends that we get to celebrate with on December 3rd!
