After landing in Lima, please use one of the taxi companies at the airport. After you go through customs and collect your luggage, you will enter a hallway with many counters for different taxi services, which are all trustworthy. When returning to the airport, we suggest either Uber or arranging a taxi through your hotel.

As with any major city, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and keep items close to you. We recommend that when you're exploring the city, leave valuable items at your hotel. The best neighborhoods for tourism are Miraflores, Barranco, and Centro de Lima. For getting around Lima, we recommend only Ubers or taxis booked through your hotel.

Water Safety

Do not drink tap water in Peru. Enjoy filtered or bottled water. At restaurants, ice is made with filtered water and is safe to consume in your drinks. Please try a cold Inca Kola :)
