Cooper and Liddie first met at good old Camp Sweeney in October of 2023. At the time, Liddie was serving as a missionary for St. Ann, and Cooper was still in college at the University of Arkansas, helping run a retreat that Liddie was coordinating. That weekend, Liddie didn’t pay much attention to Cooper - “the AV guy” - but Cooper definitely noticed Liddie. In May of 2024, Cooper was hired at St. Ann, and by pure coincidence (or providence), his office ended up right next to Liddie’s cubicle. They quickly became close friends. As the only two SEC alumni in the office, they bonded over their shared college experiences, similar humor, and matching mannerisms. What they didn’t realize at first was that something deeper was quietly growing. In October of 2024, it became impossible to ignore what was unfolding. They fell hard and fast, and they officially began dating on December 12, 2024. The year that followed was filled with love, laughter, tears, prayer, growth, challenges, and deep joy. On January 3, 2026, Cooper got down on one knee and asked Liddie to be his wife - a moment she had secretly been hoping for since the beginning of their relationship. They cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together and would be so grateful for your prayers as they prepare to enter into the Sacrament of Marriage.
