After two of their best friends introduced Cooper and Julia to each other...it only took one more spontaneous trip to UConn, nachos & a burger as big as her face for her to realize she loved the man listening to Lord Huron, staring back at her through his aviators behind the wheel of his Jeep. The rest is history.

When Julia & Cooper started dating, they took a couple summer trips together. A cross-country road trip and one to the Cape. One of the first spots Julia brought Cooper to was Lighthouse Beach in Chatham. Cooper remembered this moment and got down on one knee here five years later. Obviously, she said yes.
