FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Sunday, May 17th, 2026, so we can finalize all of the details for our big day. If you’re unable to RSVP through the website or run into any issues, feel free to reach out to Haley Sharp at 515-318-2630.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! You can find our wedding registry right here on the Registry tab of our website. It conveniently pulls everything together from all the stores we’re registered at, making it a one-stop shop to view and shop all of our registry items in one place.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive no later than 10 minutes before the ceremony begins (1:50 PM) so we can ensure everyone is seated and ready before the processional starts.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to follow a Semi-Formal dress code. Think cocktail dresses, suits, or other elevated dressy attire. We respectfully ask that guests avoid jeans and overly casual clothing.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We absolutely adore your little ones! 🤍 To help us keep our guest list and seating plans manageable, we’re only able to accommodate children of immediate family members. If your child’s name is not listed under your invitation when you RSVP, we unfortunately won’t be able to include them. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at St. Mary of Nazareth Catholic Church is easy to find as soon as you pull onto the property, with convenient parking available on-site. For the cocktail hour and reception, please use the address for the Hilton Garden Inn West Des Moines in your GPS. Once you arrive, head to the north side of the building where you’ll see Jordan Creek Crossing Event Center displayed on the exterior. We recommend parking on that side and entering the venue through those doors for the easiest access.
