It all began our freshman year at the UNCC, during a Christmas party with our college ministry, Mercy College. Cooper had just arrived for his very first Mercy event, and Faith just happened to be the first person to greet him at the door. From the moment Cooper saw her blue eyes and kindness towards him, he was hooked. Faith, on the other hand, was immediately curious about this new guy, but she needed to take her time getting to know him as a friend first. As months went by, their friendship grew into something special. One evening during their sophomore year, at a local college cookout, Cooper finally worked up the courage to ask Faith out on a date. Before he could even finish the question, Faith excitedly interrupted with a big, “Yes!” That Saturday, Cooper picked her up for what would become her favorite date ever. She was so happy that only a few minutes into the drive, she was already chatting about their future dates together. Just ten days later, Cooper asked her to be his girlfriend, and once again, Faith said her new favorite word to him, “Yes!” After two and a half wonderful years of laughter, adventures, and growing together, Cooper knew it was time for another question, the biggest one yet. After months of planning and scheming, on September 27th, 2025, in the beautiful mountains of Blowing Rock, NC, Cooper got down on one knee and asked Faith to marry him. It was a dream come true for Faith, who had always imagined getting engaged in the mountains. As always, Cooper made that dream a reality. Now, we couldn’t be happier to be planning our wedding and celebrating with all our friends and family. This is just the beginning of a lifetime of story making!
