Every great love story starts somewhere — ours began online. What started as simple messages turned into something unforgettable the night we met for hibachi in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. From that first dinner, we both knew there was something special between us. When we met, neither of us was really looking for love. We had both been drifting through life, feeling a bit lost. But somehow, in each other, we found not only love, but laughter, comfort, and a true sense of home. Together, we’ve built a life filled with adventure — whether we’re traveling to new places, getting lost in a good book, or spending time with family. What we love most, though, is simply being ourselves — goofy, genuine, and perfectly imperfect — together. The proposal happened during a trip to Las Vegas. I (the nervous one with the ring) had been holding onto it for a year, waiting for the perfect moment. In front of the Fountain of the Gods at Caesars Forum, I told Cole I wanted to take his picture… but instead, I dropped to one knee and asked him to marry me. After a few seconds that felt like hours (and a mild panic on my part!), he said yes — and the rest is our forever.
