Cooper proposed at the Grand Canyon on a trip we took to Arizona in February 2025. Seeing the Grand Canyon had been on my bucket list for years, and I finally convinced him to take me. We stayed in a beautiful resort in Sedona and traveled to the Grand Canyon for a day. We stopped at the South side lookout and hiked around a bit, it was more breathtaking than I expected! At the end of our sight seeing (or so I thought) Cooper made a "wrong turn" and pulled over on the side of the road, and took off into the woods. I ran after him screaming "Cooper what are you doing! Where did you go?" and when I found him he was standing at the most beautiful little private lookout, he set his phone up to record without me knowing and when I turned around he was on one knee. It was truly magical and so perfect. We didn't tell anyone the rest of our trip that we were engaged we just soaked up the first few days together. We surprised our family's when we got home. I truly couldn't have asked for a more special story!
