We met in 2008 on the first day of 9th grade. Ayrenton would call it love at first sight. We became good friends, and over time as we got closer, it was apparent we both wanted to be more than just friends. We began dating in 2010. We went to prom together in 2012 and made many more memories within the past 10 years. We're two best friends who found love in one another and are excited to seal it with a kiss on June 4, 2022.

We flew to Los Cabos, MX to celebrate a huge milestone in our lives - 10 years of loving one another! Visiting Cabo and staying at The Cape was a dream of ours. Ayrenton mentioned as we were planning the trip that he wanted to book all of our activities for the first time ever. Sydney was happy to allow him to take the lead (that in itself was a great anniversary gift)! On Day 2 in Cabo, Ayrenton planned a day full of activities starting with breakfast and jet skis, a sunset sail, and what Sydney thought would be a rooftop dinner. As we return to the hotel following the cruise, we head to dinner and Ayrenton leads Sydney away from the restaurant we supposedly had a reservation at. Sydney asks, "where are we going?!" Ayrenton responds, "just come this way real quick!" Following him, Sydney still had no idea what he had up his sleeve (or in his pants). Thinking... "maybe he's on his romantic vibe for the big 10 and we're just going to walk on the beach before dinner." HAHA! We then stumbled upon a beautiful private dinner set up in a poolside cabana! In complete shock, Sydney immediately found a seat at the dinner table and sat in it. Ayrenton grabbed her hand and stood her up as he got on one knee and popped the question! Of course, SHE SAID YES! It was the happiest day of our lives! Little did Sydney know, Ayrenton had the ring IN HIS PANTS for the entire 3-hour sunset cruise. After returning to the hotel, we stopped by the room for 2 minutes just so Sydney could fix her hair after the wind destroyed it. Without Sydney knowing, Ayrenton removed the ring from inside his pants and planted it in his back pocket.
