Sarah and Sean met March 2020 in Hoboken, NJ, just before the pandemic. Their first date was at Union Hall on the Hudson River. Although the COVID-19 pandemic upended their regular lives, Sarah and Sean continued to stay in touch (Sarah anxiously awaiting a text message from Sean around 7pm every night). Their early dates consisted of long walks around Pier A, take out dinners and drinks, outdoor dining including memorable pizza dates at Dozzino. After a few short months, they both realized it was meant to be and officially became a couple. Three years later, Sean proposed to Sarah on October 21st, 2023, in Sea Isle City, NJ, during a weekend when Sarah was preparing for the Atlantic City marathon. Surrounded by both of their families, Sean surprised Sarah with a proposal on the bay, creating a perfect moment. They look forward to celebrating their wedding in April, with friends and family in one of their favorite places, Sea Isle City!
