Our story began in July, 2009. Tiffany was starting her sophomore year in college at Kennesaw State and Anthony was living in Athens. We both attended a mutual friends cookout for the 4th. Anthony approached me because he thought I was cute, obviously the man has great taste. He asked me if I was dating anyone and I told him no. We ended up hanging out and talking the entire time at the cookout. From then on we kept in contact with each other and quickly developed a strong friendship.
After about two years into our friendship it developed into something more and we started dating. When we first started dating we did a lot of traveling back and forth from Kennesaw to Athens. Throughout our entire relationship we had open communication. We would talk on the phone...a lot! About any and everything, through out the day, very minimal texting, just normal old school way of communicating; on the phone getting to know one another. 7 years later we still talk on the phone...a lot!
After some years of dating we both started talking about marriage and decided we were in a great place in our relationship where we knew each other and trusted each other enough to make the ultimate commitment of marriage. I literally told him, “I want my whole family to see us when you propose, I needed witnesses!” Little did I know he would actually make my wish come true. A week after my 27th birthday Anthony proposed to me in front of both our family and friends at a surprise birthday party that he planned for me. Without saying a word I instantly stuck out my hand so he could slide that beautiful ring on my finger. Plus my sister basically verbally accepted the proposal for me by screaming yes multiple times. No words were needed from me after that, she said it all. I love Anthony and Anthony loves me and we can't wait to spend forever with each other.
