⛺ Why a campout wedding?

Answer

We’re so glad you asked :) Community, connection, being outside, celebrating in nature, listening to music, dancing, and eating yummy food for three days with the most important people in the world to us is a total dream. We love hosting and creating events where people actually have the time and space to connect. A one night event is far too fast (in our experience) to allow for that, and surprise, surprise, when a bunch of beautiful people hang out under the stars, unrushed, this sort of magic happens. We love a short little camping weekend with our family and friends, or even just us. We love the conversations that naturally happen around a campfire. We are so honored to host you. It will be casual. It will be fun. It will be beautiful in all of its DIY and imperfect magic. It feels very important to us to commit to each other in front of and in the presence of our entire community. Thank you for believing in us, for trusting us to host you, and for making the trek. We love all of your kids! But only our direct nephews and nieces will be there in order to keep our guest list to a feasible number and to allow for us to connect with YOU. If you have a baby under the age of 12 months—welcome to come!
