Are kids invited?

While we love your kids, our wedding will be 18+ so please leave the kids at home tonight!

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Cocktail or garden attire is preferred, but come however you are comfortable. Please note that this event will be outside so please plan to dress according to the weather. Some areas will not be paved (parking, outside venue) so please plan shoes accordingly.

What is the rainplan?
Answer
If there is rain (fingers crossed for no!) there is additional space on site that we will use. Please show up to the venue and you will be directed accordingly.

How do I find directions to the venue?
Answer
Please try to use Maps instead of Google Maps if possible. Maps will take you to the correct place; Google Maps stops just short of the actual venue location. If you set the location as "Brimborn Steel Works" in Google Maps it should direct you to the correct place. There will be multiple signs for event and parking once you get to the street.

Where should I park?
Answer
Parking is on site and a short walk from the venue. There are a few close parking spots directly outside the entrance - please text Bonnie at 404-429-0545 at least two weeks prior to the event if you would like to use one of these. Otherwise, please park in the main lot. There will be multiple signs along the road with directions to both the parking lot and event venue. There are multiple unpaved sections so please plan shoes accordingly.

Can I take pictures with my phone?
Answer
We'd prefer limited use of smartphones during the ceremony to allow the photographer to capture our special day. We ask that your phones remain in your pockets or bags on silent until after the ceremony. However, we would love your pictures from the reception, so once the ceremony is over please snap away!

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?
Answer
The event will take place outdoors. Masks are not required but highly encouraged.
Question
My map says the event space is permanently closed. Is this correct?
Answer
Nope! The event space is definitely still active. Please note that some map applications (like Google Maps) may say the space is permanently closed, or may have the venue listed under a different name (Brimborn Steel Works). Please ignore this - it is an error with the map that will be resolved soon, but does not reflect the venue's actual open hours.
