From 8 am history classes to slinging margaritas to the masses together, they’ve been able to keep each other (moderately) sane along the way.

At this point, Rachel and Shane could speak solely in inside jokes and references. After spending over half of their lives as friends, it’s easy to see why. They’ve stayed close friends for over 14 years, which is longer than either of them would ever want to admit for fear of feeling ancient. Even though locations and schedules being pretty much constantly at odds, they’re as close now as they always have been despite being on opposite coasts. “Remember that time we weren’t friends?”

If you look at either of their social media accounts, you’ll see the connection Jenna and Shane have. Thanks to one fateful post-photoshoot Taco Bell visit, the two became fast friends in their first production together and have only gotten closer since Shane and Natalie moved to Nashville. Jenna has connected Shane to countless jobs and given him performance opportunities as well. From some debatable life choices, to both of them getting married in the same year, they’ve been able to depend on each other every step of the way.

Steven was right there bonding with Shane and Jenna in their first show together. Over time, the three of them became an intensely powerful platonic throuple who have shared many high-laughter nights. Steven and Shane have also been able to share their love of music, with Steven taking Shane to multiple concerts and festivals over the years. Shane is happy to have an excuse to make Steven leave New York and come hang out with him.
