When to arrive?

Come whatever days make sense for you. We will most likely do a golf/spa outing on Friday morning for those who will be here. The wedding will be Saturday Morning Brunch - 9 am - 1 pm We imagine some people will come as early as Wednesday. Sarasota is beautiful, and there are many things to do here. Let us know when you plan to come and we can help you plan a great stay, and we will join you as much as we can. If you like boat racing, think about staying Sunday Night. There is the Annual powerboat racing event here in Sarasota this weekend, click the button below to view website on the boat race. People come from all over to watch this event and you will be able to watch from the beach from the Lido Beach Resort.

This hotel has a good variety of rooms - hopefully they meet your taste and budget. We recommend you stay at this hotel as it will be most convenient and where we will be hanging out. The link to our room block is linked on the button below. The rates are guaranteed but the rooms are not held until they are booked. Because of the boat race this weekend, the hotel will most likely sell out for the weekend, so grab your room before they go! The hotel is dog friendly... woof woof! Cheaper / Creative Options - The two-bed suites have two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a sleeper sofa. If you share with other people coming you get a great room and it is cheaper than two normal rooms, up to 6 people fit. There is a Holiday Inn on Lido beach that is walking distance from this resort that may be cheaper. There are also many hotels near the Sarasota airport that are very inexpensive. Sarasota's airport it the closest to where we will be having our reception, so it will be the most convenient airport to fly into.

Allegiant Airlines

Allegiant Airlines, is a budget airline that flies to some airports and has many flights into SRQ and PIE, they only fly certain days of the week so see if it works for your schedule. Allegiant flights that may work for some people coming to Belleville (St Louis) - Sarasota, Boston - Sarasota, Sarasota - Richmond, Baltimore - Sarasota, El Paso - SFB Orlando, Albany - Clearwater. Out of the NYC area Newark always seems to be the place to get the most affordable rates to either Sarasota or Tampa International
