What’s the dress code?

Answer

Summer Festive! Something you can dance and enjoy your time outdoors in. The ceremony is outdoors and not covered. The reception is in a covered outdoors space. Men can wear slacks and a button down (no tie or jacket necessary, unless you'd like), women can wear a summer dress. No formal dress required. Is there transportation between hotels before the wedding and after?

Answer

Yes, There will be a shuttle departing from Staybridge Suites to The Shawnee Inn at 430PM (<10 minute ride) for guests. The shuttle will be making return trips from Shawnee to Staybridge beginning at 11PM and every hour throughout the night until 2AM. Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is there public transportation from NYC to the Poconos area?

Answer

Martz Trailways bus service (see link below) departs daily from NYC Port Authority and Financial District every 30 minutes to an hour daily to the Stroudsberg Park and Ride, PA - a 6 minute Uber ride from the hotels: https://martztrailways.com/departures-from-new-york/ Tickets are ~$24 each way The ride is approximately 1.5 hours to The Poconos

Until when can I book my room under the wedding block?

Answer

Both hotel blocks are reserved until May 1st. After that, the special rate will no longer apply and we cannot ensure there will be availability so please book your hotels in advance!

Is there Uber in the Poconos?

Answer

Yes, Ubers will be available but may be scarce in the later evening hours.

Parking is free and available at both hotels.
