We had known each other for a couple of years through friends.  We crossed paths one day at party city where Jesse asked me out. Our first date was at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery who was hosting a Christmas festival. A slight chill in the air and a romantic setting, got things off to a good start. About a year and a half of dating, on the fourth of July at Hilton Head beach, Jesse proposed.
