Last summer we bought a home in Wicker Park that was built in 1885. We are currently doing a gut renovation to convert it from a two flat into a single family home.
We are having a fun time stopping by every few days to see the progress and we are thankful that we are not trying to live there amidst the construction. Annie had a clear version and Will was onboard so long as he did not actually have to do any of the construction. She's gonna be a beaut!
We fell in love with this facade, which is being restored.
Most of the interior will be gutted but we are saving this piece of trim and the fireplaces.
There are two sets of original pocket doors on the first floor.
This door needs some TLC.

the walls are gone!
