Yes - we'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! So, we are requesting that all of our guests dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire. We request women wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length (midi- or knee-length) dress or dressy separates. We request that men wear a suit with a dress shirt and tie. For this time of year in the low-country of South Carolina the weather may be warm (~70-80⁰F) during the day and slightly cooler in the evening. For this reason, women may want to consider having a lightweight cardigan or shawl available. Our ceremony will be taking place outdoors in the grass, whereas the reception will be indoors. Therefore, we recommend women wear flats (shoes without heels). Please note that the venue DOES NOT permit blue jeans or sneakers.
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams and the bridesmaids dress colors which are various shades of "dusty blue."
It truly can vary. It averages high 70's/low 80's during the day and high 60's/low 70's at night.
Though we LOVE your children, our wedding will be child free except for the children in our wedding party. We hope you will still join us to celebrate and make it a wonderful parents' night out!
All guests will be designated on their invitations and will appear under your name when you RSVP. We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests - we can only allow the people named on your invitation to attend. We would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. Thank you for your understanding! If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to Monique or Adam!
The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. We recommend arriving approximately 15 minutes early to make sure you are seated.
Yes! The ceremony is outdoors at Dataw Island Clubhouse, with the reception to follow. We are so excited for you all to experience the beautiful views on Dataw Island! Dataw is a gated community, so guests on the day of the wedding will let the gate attendants know they are attending the Conway/Godfrey Wedding.
We want our guests to relax and safely enjoy our wedding day! Complimentary (tip included!) transportation has been arranged to & from the reception to a centralized drop off area close to Bay Street in historic downtown Beaufort, SC – All guests are welcome and encouraged to use the provided transportation. 3:45pm: Transportation pick-up downtown - two locations 1) The entrance to Chambers Park (behind the marina store) on the waterfront across from the Sea Island Best Western (if you are coming from the Best Western use the crosswalk at the traffic light at Charles & Bay Streets) 2) Hilton Garden Inn 9:30pm: Transportation arrives at Dataw Island Club and will drop-off at either 1) Luther’s Bar (After Party location) 2) Chambers Park (across from the Best Western), or 3) the Hilton Garden Inn

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day! However, should you wish to contribute to our honeymoon, a wedding card can be dropped in the card box at the reception.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and cameras are turned to silent/off during the ceremony. HOWEVER, we are going to recognize a “social media moment” that will be announced at the beginning of the ceremony by our officiant. Our guests will have 60 seconds to take as many photos as they would like then you will be asked to please return to an “unplugged” ceremony. After the ceremony exit, please feel free to take as many photos as you want and share them with us!
