The ceremony and reception will be taking place in our backyard in Marstons Mills (Barnstable).
Guests are asked to arrive at 4:00pm for the ceremony and the reception will take place immediately after.
Sadly, our driveway cannot accommodate all of our guests, so you will have to park offsite at the Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds Golf Course, and we will provide transportation to the event. Address for parking is 1460 MA-149, Marstons Mills, MA 02648. You will need to arrive to the shuttle by 3:50pm.
Attire can be a bit laid-back, dressy casual. Think sundresses and summer slacks or dressy shorts in lighter hues.
Summer on Cape Cod is beautiful, but the temperature can vary. During the day it will likely be warm (80 degrees F/ 26 degrees C); it cools down at night (70 degrees F/21 degrees C). We are hoping for sun (of course!), so sunscreen and fedoras might be a good idea, as well as a cover-up for when the sun goes down.
The wedding will take place outdoors, with a tent covering the reception area.
We would love for you to keep your phones in your purses and pockets during the ceremony and leave those pics to our wedding photographer. But we are more than happy to pose for pics with all of our loved ones during the reception.
There are some other events for our out-of-town guests prior to the wedding (thanks so much for traveling so far to see us get married!), and we have sent separate invites for those.

While we love your little ones (truly!), our wedding events are going to be adults-only. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Here is a great local, babysitting service: www.summersitters.com
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
We are planning on having a food truck serving up all types of meals, and we are doing our best to accommodate all dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free).

The last bus will depart at approximately 10:00pm.
Our event will take place outside, so we feel pretty comfortable that everyone will be safe mixing and mingling. However, we want everyone to stay healthy, so assuming everything is the same in August 2023 as it is now, if you are traveling or feeling sick in any way, we’d appreciate it if you would test.
