What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. This can look like midi dresses, knee-length dresses, a fashionable jumpsuit, or a suit and tie. Weather permitting, our ceremony will be outside, and during our cocktail hour and reception you will have the option to enjoy our venue's outdoor space. We encourage you to dress for comfort as well as style to stay cool in the hot and humid July weather.

Am I allowed to take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are excited to share our love and commitment to each other with all of our family and friends. We are kindly requesting that our ceremony be a phone-free space to allow for all guests and members of the wedding party to be fully present. Our photographer will be working hard to ensure that important moments during the ceremony are captured for us and our guests. Photos and videos during the reception are welcome.

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outdoors. The ceremony area has limited shade. In the event of rain, our venue has space for an indoor ceremony.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is ample parking at Waverly Oaks. We will not be providing shuttle transportation, so we recommend driving, carpooling, or using a rideshare service.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all of our friends' and family's children, but we respectfully ask that children do not attend our reception, with the exception of immediate family.

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive with ample time to park, mingle with family and friends, and find your seat.

Where should I go if I am early?

Answer

If you are early, you may relax in the Waverly Oaks Golf Course pro shop. Drinks are available for purchase, and there are restrooms available.

How do I know if I have a plus 1?

Answer

If you have a plus 1, the invitation will be addressed to you and to "guest."
