The Story of Liz and Morgan

A couple weeks after meeting on an online dating app, our spark was ignited when we met in person for the first time over breakfast on February 1st, 2025. Early on, we had bonded over our faith, and our elevated music tastes. As we got to know each other during our first couple of dates we began to see so many wonderful qualities in each other, and we knew that we wanted to keep seeing each other. One of these qualities was that we both shared our desire to improve and become our best self by God’s grace and with Jesus as our savior and foundation. By our fourth date, a picnic at Memorial Park, we quickly realized that our dreams and hopes of finding our person was blossoming into a reality. As the date progressed, our conversations were becoming deeper and more heartfelt. We enjoyed talking and being together so much that we extended our date to a coffee walk and a candle shopping session. In the following months we grew steadily closer together, relishing the quiet moments filled with deep conversations where we shared things that we had never shared before. We also made many wonderful memories, full of personal and spiritual growth, laughter, and new experiences for both of us. We celebrated Morgan getting baptized, Liz graduating with her Master’s degree, and we went on our fist trip together to New York City. We also had many picnics, trips to Joshua Tree, and beach days! One year after our first picnic together, Morgan planned to relive that special day with Liz by having another picnic at the same spot on the same day. Only this time the picnic was already setup when they got there, and Morgan proposed to marry Liz. And Liz said “YES”! We are both so happy and excited to start our next chapter together as one, living our days pursuing each other, celebrating each other, loving each other well, and pursuing God together, for the rest of our lives.
