Cocktail / Semi-Formal Attire Maxi or midi dresses in flowy, festive styles are encouraged (florals, colorful, and vibrant prints are all welcome). Think colorful and celebratory! The reception will be held indoors, so heels are welcomed (we would recommend bringing flats on a separate bag as we expect everyone to dance for hours)!! Gentlemen are encouraged to wear dress pants with a button-down or lightweight shirt; a blazer is optional. Linen and breathable fabrics are recommended. Refer to the link below for some ideas:
We absolutely adore your children and are so grateful to celebrate with the people we love most. After much thought, we have decided to make this an Adults-Only celebration. We hope you understand how much heart went into this decision. That said, we know that traveling without a baby under 2 years old isn't always possible! If this is your situation, please reach out as we would love to chat, walk you through the day's schedule, and figure out together what works best for everyone.
We want you to show up, relax, and enjoy every moment, so here's a little packing guide to help you feel prepared without overpacking. Clothes Roatan in December can get very warm, so pack light fabrics, breathable clothes, and your best vacation outfits. December can bring the occasional short shower that passes almost as quickly as it arrives, so toss in a light jacket or packable rain layer just in case. Health & Sun Please bring any medications you take regularly; pharmacies near the wedding venue can be hard to come by, and this one is important. We'll have a small emergency kit on hand just in case, but come prepared! On the sun front, pack plenty of sunscreen and, if possible, reef-safe sunscreen. Roatan has some of the most stunning coral reefs in the world, and we'd love to keep it that way 🪸. And don't forget bug spray!!
Transportation in Roatan is limited, so we recommend staying in the West Bay area, where everything (beaches, restaurants, bars) is within walking distance - making it a great home base. If you'd like to explore more of the island, renting a car is your best bet. Taxis can get very expensive. Wedding Day Transportation No need to worry! We will provide bus service for guests, with pickup points conveniently located throughout the West Bay area. Buses will depart from West Bay hotels at a set time before the ceremony and will bring everyone back once the reception has ended. More details on pickup times and exact stops will be shared closer to the date. If you'd prefer the flexibility of coming and going at your own pace, we recommend renting a car as taxis can be difficult to find late at night in Roatan. *We will kindly ask that you confirm your accommodations at least one month before the event so that we may arrange transportation accordingly.
