Please arrive between 12:30 and 1 PM. The Mass will begin at 1 PM sharp, as there is another service happening at 3 and we will need to be out by 2:30.
If you have a spouse or children, they have also been invited. Additionally, committed partners of our guests have been invited and informed. If you have not received notice that you have a plus-one, then you have not been allotted one. We apologize for this, we just need to have an accurate representation of who will be attending, and how much of each resource we need to allocate to make the party fun for everyone.
The dress code is semi-formal Autumn in New York. Skirt lengths of all kinds are welcome, but be mindful that there might be a chill in the air. Please no jeans, and if you are wearing pants, a suit jacket or blazer is recommended. Also, there is no need to worry about out-shining the couple. We encourage everyone to showcase their personality, culture, and spunk in their attire -- it makes the party more fun that way!
All are welcome to come to our ceremony! We want you there! No need to brush up on your VeggieTales. Just please be mindful that only Catholics are allowed to receive communion.
Yes! We will be sending invitations in the early spring. There will be a section on the invitations to denote your dietary restrictions/allergies. Please denote your food allergies -- our caterer knowing them is not an inconvenience, but rather a necessary safety measure to ensure that everyone is healthy and happy at the event. A note in an RSVP is a lot less annoying than a trip to a hospital!
New York is not a city where we recommend bringing or renting a car. There will be very limited parking in the area. Please keep this in mind. However, we will be in a very transit-friendly area of the city, where it's easy to get around using the train, Citibikes, and walking. There are also yellow cabs all over.
Our dinner and drinks will be complimentary to all of our guests, including an open bar. However, please be mindful of the staff who are making our drinks. If you plan on drinking cocktails, it is customary to tip staff.
