Costa and Stephanie met at a mutual friend’s Halloween party… where their love story began with a very serious disagreement over the music. (Naturally, she was right.) After that, they kept “accidentally” running into each other at different Greek events with friends. They were both a little shy—although she was definitely winning that competition. Eventually, Stephanie decided to take matters into her own hands and invited a group of friends (including Costa) to a Greek Easter midnight celebration at her parents’ restaurant. Costa came… and clearly made the most of the opportunity, because by the end of the night, he invited Stephanie to his family’s Easter the next day. Stephanie stopped by, met his family, and thankfully had some friends there for moral support. Not long after, Costa asked Stephanie on their first official date—pizza at Piccola Piatti. And just like that, they went from “running into each other” to basically never leaving each other alone. That summer, they all went to Greece, where Costa's sister (Vicki) was getting married. Since Stephanie was already going, Costa's family invited her to the wedding and the welcome party. Casual. At the welcome party, Costa started introducing Stephanie to his entire family, which felt like a big deal… but she didn’t fully realize how big until later that night. When she got back to where she was staying, she saw he had posted a picture of the two of them on social media… with a heart. (For context: this is something he basically never does.) So naturally, she texted him: “Wait… does this mean we’re official?” His answer: “Yes.” And just like that—thanks to a Halloween debate, some Greek holidays, and one very bold Instagram post—they were officially pair. We spent the wedding together, followed by an unforgettable week in Greece with our friends… and the rest is history.
